    Everything Change Climate Fiction Contest 2018

    Presented by the Imagination and Climate Futures Initiative at Arizona State University, the Everything Change Climate Fiction Contest 2018 contest is looking for stories that illustrate, explore, or illuminate the impact of climate change on humanity and/or the Earth. Submissions are welcome in all genres of short fiction, including speculative, realistic, literary, experimental, hybrid forms, and more.

    You may submit up to one work of short fiction with a maximum length of 5,000 words. The work must be written in English. Submissions must be original work that has not been previously published in print or online.

    Works will be judged by Kim Stanley Robinson.

    There is no entry fee.

    Eligibility


    Open to anyone worldwide, 18 years or older.

    Prize


    The winner will receive a 1,000 USD prize. Nine finalists will receive 50 USD each. The winner and finalists will be published in an online anthology, which will be free to download, read, and share.
