    Oxford Brookes University Poetry Competition 2018

    Organised by the Poetry Centre of Oxford Brookes University, this International Poetry Competition celebrates the power of poetry across the world.

    There are two categories:

    Open category – open to all poets aged 18 years and over
    English as an Additional Language (EAL). To be eligible for the EAL category entrants must confirm that English is not their first language when they pay their entry fee online

    Entrants may enter up to a maximum of ten poems. Poems must be written primarily in English, though a few words or phrases in another language or languages can be included. Entries can be on any subject.

    All entries must be unpublished work.

    The first three poems submitted cost £5 GBP per poem. Subsequent entries in the same submission cost £4 GBP per poem up to a total of ten poems.

    Eligibility


    Open to both new and established poets aged 18 and over from across the globe.

    Prize


    The winners of each category will receive £1000 GBP and both runners up £200 GBP.
